Miley Cyrus' Parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, File for Divorce

NEW YORK (CBS) Miley Cyrus' parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cryus, are calling it quits.

The couple, who have been married for 17 years, filed for divorce Wednesday in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences, according to the People magazine.

"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," the two said in a statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

The two have five children, including the "Can't Be Tamed" pop singer.
