Mariah Carey releases new single, "The Art of Letting Go"

Mariah Carry unveiled her new single "The Art of Letting Go" on Monday via Facebook.

The singer wrote: "This is such a personal record to me. I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that's holding them back or bringing them down."

The song is the title of her 14th studio album, which she's been working on for years -- she pushed back the release date over the summer was set back after injuring her shoulder while on the set of her music video for a remix of "#Beautiful." It's been reported that Jermaine Dupri, Randy Jackson, Q-Tip, R. Kelly, The-Dream, and many others will guest on this album. "The Art of Letting Go" is the second single to arrive this year; in May, she released "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel.
