On Feb. 18, a 12-year-old boy stumbled across human remains, and dental records confirmed they belonged to Jordan.

Pulaski County Sheriff's Lt. Carl Minden says, "In a lot of ways, it takes the burden off the family," reports CBS affiliate KTHV.

Minden says the 28-year-old mother of two hadn't been seen since last April and it was out of the ordinary for her to disappear.

Two months after she went missing, her family put up a $10,000 reward. Police investigated several leads, but did not find her. Police say Jordan's boyfriend was developed as a suspect but later cleared.

Deputies say she knew people in the area where the body was found, and are now waiting for the medical examiner to determine how she died.

"A death investigation for a homicide, for a suicide, a natural death, they are all investigated the same," says Minden.
