Madonna wants to play Iran, Egypt and Syria

(CBS News) Madonna is apparently ready to take on the world. The music superstar wants to  trek all over the globe to play her music, even in areas that are on shaky ground.

"We would love to go play Iran," Madonna's manager Guy Oseary told The Hollywood Reporter. "We would love to play Lebanon, Egypt and Syria at some point ... Obviously, it's just not possible."

Madonna's tour kicks off May 29 in Israel and continues through November. She'll be on the road behind her new No. 1 album, "MDNA."
