Liana Andrews and Kacie Watson Missing: Abandoned car of Texas teens found in San Antonio, report says

(CBS) SAN ANTONIO, Texas. - The car two missing teens from Cypress, Texas, were last seen driving in was found in downtown San Antonio, about 200 miles from their home, on Thursday, according to CBS affiliate KENS.

Liana Andrews, 16, and Kacie Watson, 14, were reportedly having a sleepover at Liana's home on August 14 when they went missing.

According to the station, the girls took off that Friday night after Liana's grandmother, who was watching them, went to bed. Family members say the girls sent them a text message saying they would be back Saturday afternoon.

Police say the vehicle the teens drove was found in downtown San Antonio with their belongings inside.

Investigators reportedly said the girls drove to San Antonio to meet a man they met on Facebook and they believe the teens are in danger.
