(CBS) Dude looks like a Lady Gaga?

The ever-outrageous pop star is showing off her gender-bending skills on the cover of her new single, "You and I."

The images, which she posted on her Twitter feed last Friday, feature an unrecognizable Gaga smoking a cigarette and sporting a messy quiff with sideburns.

"You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don't love yourself," she wrote before sharing the photos.

Turns out, the guise is her male alter-ego "Joe Calderon," a fictional Sicilian mechanic that was created with her stylist Nicola Formichetti.

She posed as him once before on the cover and inside pages of the September 2010 issue of Vogue Hommes Japan.

Gaga has promised that the music video for "You and I," the fourth single off her "Born This Way" album, will be released on her 1000th tweet.
