(CBS News) Kim Kardashian went on a Twitter rant against British Airways over the weekend, accusing the airline of stealing her personal and "sentimental" items during a recent overseas trip.

She later wrote "Shame on you," noting, "What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. There's no sense of security & no trust!"

A British Airways spokesperson told CBSNews.com, "We're looking into the matter."

The reality TV star visited the U.K. as part of a promotional tour for her new fragrance last week before heading to the Cannes Film Festival to join her beau, rapper Kanye West.

After her British Airways tweets, Kardashian, who's now back in Los Angeles, posted a photo of West alongside the tweet: "I miss him."
