Country music legend and worldwide music icon Kenny Rogers will take a seat at the "CBS This Morning" table to shed some light behind the scenes of over fifty years of working in the music industry.

The music star, known for songs like his Dolly Parton duet "Islands in the Stream," and "Buy Me a Rose," has been a fixture in show business for five decades. He's now written a memoir about his life on the road called, "Luck or Something Like It." The book has been called a "backstage pass to fifty years of performing and recording from one of the bestselling artists ever."

Be sure to tune in to "CTM" Thursday morning 7-9 a.m. ET for the full conversation.
