(CBS/AP) LONDON - Actress Keira Knightley is engaged.

The Oscar-nominated 27-year-old, whose film credits include "Bend It Like Beckham," "Pride and Prejudice," "A Dangerous Method" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, is to marry musician James Righton.

Publicist Sara Keene Friday confirmed the news on Friday. She says she does not have further details about the wedding plans.

Righton is a keyboardist for the Klaxons.

The couple started dating early last year.
