In this age of hyper-communication it's amazing how far we'll go to not talk to each other.
A new product called slydial directs your phone call right to a person's voicemail, avoiding actual human-to-human interaction.
Slydial has some benign practical uses, like calling late at night, but for the most part it's sold as a way to make someone think you really wanted to talk to them, but just couldn't get through.
So, when did conversation become such a hassle?
