Katie Couric to guest-host "Good Morning America"

(CBS News) Katie Couric will get up bright and early next week.

She's returning to morning television, serving as guest host on ABC's "Good Morning America."

The former CBS news anchor and ex-NBC "Today" show host will sub for the vacationing Robin Roberts for a week, sitting alongside George Stephanopoulos.

Couric, 55, announced the news on Twitter:

The hosting gig leads up to the launch of Couric's upcoming talk show, "Katie," which is expected to debut in September.
