Brent was tested for marijuana on June 19 and on June 25, a positive results from that test was confirmed, according to court documents obtained by the station. Brent was ultimately arrested and booked into Dallas' Lew Sterrett Justice Center.
Brent was arrested and charged in December after police say he was driving while intoxicated when he flipped his 2007 Mercedes with his teammate Jerry Brown inside. Brown died at the scene.
Police say Brent's blood-alcohol level was listed at 0.189, more than twice the legal limit, at the time of the crash and that he was speeding and failed to stay in his own lane.
Brent is currently being held without bond, the Dallas County Sheriff's Dept. says, according to the station.
