A determination of the cause of death of the 30-year-old socialite was deferred pending toxicological tests and microscopic studies that could take eight weeks or more, according to Los Angeles County coroner spokesman Craig Harvey.
Casey Johnson, daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and one of the heirs to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, was found dead Monday in her Los Angeles home. Harvey says examiners are also considering her medical history and her diabetes.
