PHOENIX (CBS/KPHO) Johnathan Hock pleaded guilty Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court to attempted sexual assault and voyeurism for assaulting his girlfriend while she was unconscious after a night of heavy drinking.

He compounded the violation, which occurred in February, by live-streaming the video of the assault on the webcam community Stickam. The video was subsequently posted on the teen gossip site Stickydrama.com.

The victim reported the assault in March and after an extensive investigation, including a search for the web host of the video, Hock was arrested and charged June 9 with two counts of sexual assault, one count of kidnapping and one count of voyeurism. According to the indictment, the victim said she had no idea she had been attacked until a friend contacted her after seeing the video online, CBS affiliate KPHO reported.

Phoenix police said they obtained the five-minute video and heard Hock comment about how the victim was completely passed out and how he could have sex with her without her knowledge, according to the station.

Hock is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 8, but questions remain about how the video was distributed in the first place and why it took nearly 3 months for the web host to turn over the video, according to the news and gossip blog Gawker.com.
