Job Search: Calling all Carpenters, Plumbers and Builders

There are some 119,696 job postings for builders, masons, carpenters, electricians, welders and people who have experience in paving and putting in heating and air conditioning services, according to Indeed.com.

While a portion of the jobs are aimed at laborers who need nothing but experience and willingness to work, some construction jobs are technical and require an engineering background, said Michael Werch, an Indeed.com spokesman. In fact, the top employers in this industry are largely engineering and aerospace firms.
