Jessica Alba on life as a mom in the public eye

Jessica Alba is one of the biggest names in the entertainment world and is now a mother of two. She gave birth just five months ago to a baby girl named Haven Garner Warren, and just this week was walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes in a form-fitting gown.

But what is it like to balance motherhood and celebrity?

Alba said on "CBS This Morning," that her daughters aren't aware of their mother's fame and that she doesn't take note of it, focusing on her kids instead.

"I mean, it's just -- it goes with the territory," she said. "I'm thankful to be doing what I do for a living. I feel super blessed."

"Better to have it than not to have it," Charlie Rose remarked.

"I've had so many incredible experiences that I wouldn't have if it wasn't for this business," Alba said. "You kind of -- you take the good and the bad. So it's fine."

But when asked by Erica Hill, who is also a mom, if the paparazzi is respectful of her children and her family's privacy, Alba said, "They don't. No. I wish there were -- there was some sort of law in place where they couldn't photograph the kid and print photos of your children. Obviously, they're not public figures. But I don't make it a big deal. I say to my kids, when there's cameras there, I'm like, 'How funny, OK, anyways. How was school? What was karate like today?' And, 'Show me your dance moves.' We just keep it moving."
