Jason Priestley thrown off horse, suffers concussion

Acting can be a dangerous job: Jason Priestley is now recovering after he suffered a concussion when he was thrown off a horse this week on the set of his new show, "The Code."

He tweeted on Wednesday: "Concussion... But I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on The Code."

The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor added that he has a history of concussions, and his doctor told him to take a few days off.

"Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words..." he wrote. "It's true, I did get thrown off a horse on set... I got my bell rung pretty good... Because I have a history of concussions, they took me to see a neurologist for an assessment. He advised I take a few days off as I had suffered a concussion... But I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on The Code."

He thanked his fans for sending him their well wishes. Priestley shocked fans in 2002 when it was revealed that he was in a serious car accident and broke his back and feet.
