Insurgent Group Shows Wreckage of "U.S. Spy Plane" It Claims It Downed
The Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) claimed in a new video release posted on the Internet Sunday that it downed a U.S. predator in the Iraqi province of Diyala. The actual shooting of the plane is not shown on the four-minute video, but it includes close up footage of what looks like the wreckage of a spy plane. The group also includes detailed information about the plane, including its dimensions. The group, which is led by al Qaeda in Iraq, claims it had downed tens of similar planes in the past.
