From CBS News' John Bentley:

(CINCINNATI) – There's no better evidence of the importance of Ohio than the dueling campaign events John McCain and Barack Obama are holding this morning.

McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin will hold a rally in Lebanon, while Obama will deliver a speech on education, 30 miles away in Riverside.

The polls show a dead heat here between McCain and Obama in their fight for Ohio's hefty 20 electoral votes.

After the Lebanon rally, McCain and Palin head to Pennsylvania, another hotly contested state, for an afternoon rally in Lancaster.
