(CBS) GODFREY, Ill. - Adam Roberts, a 21-year-old southern Illinois man with a fully tatooed face, is charged with stealing items from more than two dozen storage lockers and selling some of them to area residents, CBS St. Louis reports.
Roberts faces three felony counts of burglary after allegedly stealing televisions, other electronic devices and even refrigerators. He remains jailed on a $6,000 bond.
Madison County officials say Roberts cut through a chain link fence that surrounds Self Storage in Godfrey and then broke into 28 storage units.
Officials say they have recovered some of the items, but that other items - including a tv, refrigerator, fishing equipment, professional wrestling DVDs, an antique chest of drawers, an oval mirror and a sewing machine - were all sold off.
The Madison County Sheriff's Department is asking people who may have bought the items to call 618-296-3000.
Officials say Roberts - easily recognizable due to the full-face tattoos - may have been working with an accomplice.
