Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie Tie the Knot

NEW YORK (CBS) Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are now husband and wife.

The actress, 22, and the Canadian hockey player, 29, married on Saturday in an "intimate ceremony" in Santa Barbara, Calif.

According to People magazine, the couple exchanged vows at the Mediterranean Villa La Quinta around 8 p.m under an arch of flowers and in front of about 100 guests.

"Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy," an eyewitness told the magazine.

Duff and Comrie reportedly spent their wedding night at the nearby historic San Ysidro Ranch.

The couple began dating in 2007. Comrie proposed in February.
