NEW YORK (CBS) Heather Locklear was reportedly arrested over the weekend for a hit-and-run.

According to TMZ, police sources heard a crash near the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.

When deputies got to the area, they found a "no parking" sign knocked over and other "obvious signs" a car went up the curb,  reports the celebrity blog.

When investigators arrived at Locklear's home, close by, they found her black Beemer damaged and arrested her for a hit-and-run, reports TMZ.  She was not taken into custody.

Locklear's lawyer told the celebrity site "it is not yet clear who was driving."

This isn't the first time Locklear has had trouble with the law. In Sept. 2008, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance in the upscale Santa Barbara area.

Locklear was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer after a resident reported seeing the actress leaving a parking lot and "driving erratically," according to officials.

She evaded DUI charges by pleading guilty to a lesser offense in Jan. 2009.
