Got a positive story? Know a hero?

It seems sometimes that every day the news is filled with stories of mayhem and destruction, tragedies and examples of the lowest levels of human behavior.

That's part of a journalist's job, to tell the sad news and try to identify problems that need to be corrected.

But there are many other positive stories happening every day. People helping people; men and women who might have endured horrible experiences but have found the strength to rise above. People trying to do good, whether by helping children in their community, or animals that need aid.

At CBS News we report these stories, too. And now there's a place where we've collected them: The CBS Good News Page.

Do you have an inspirational story that shows the better side of human nature? Do you know a hero? Send an email with the details and your story could be featured on CBS News.
