(CBS) BERWYN, Pa. - Investigators are searching for a suspect who they say targeted a Girl Scout troop in a heartless robbery over the weekend, CBS Philly reports.

Police say fourth graders from New Eagle Elementary School were selling Girl Scout cookies at the Pathmark in Berwyn, Pa. around 5p.m. Sunday.

According to investigators, the suspect approached members of Girl Scout Troop 4305 at their table display. He took an undetermined amount of cash from a donation container for  US military personnel, CBS Philly reports.

The suspect then forcibly reached into a box of cash from cookie sales and stole approximately $20, the station says.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a blue car. He is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, with a medium build.

Police say they obtained store surveillance video that they hope will help identify the suspect.
