Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who had surgery early this month for pancreatic cancer, returned to work today.
"She entered the courtroom on her own smiling broadly and appears to be doing well – one would never know she recently went through a major surgery," reports CBS News producer Deidre Hester
The 75-year old justice is hearing oral arguments this morning. On Feb. 5, doctors discharged Ginsburg from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center after removing a small malignant tumor and concluding that the malignancy had not spread.
Ginsburg entered the courtroom this morning wearing the black robe and white collar combination familiar to Supreme Court watchers. As attorneys were sworn into the Supreme Court Bar, she looked directly at each individual and offered a nod and a smile to welcome them, Hester reports.
