NEW YORK (CBS) After celebrating a friend's birthday in Boston, 25-year-old Gene Losik went missing. Now, over a month later, his family continues to hope they will find him.

Losik was staying at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf when he went missing Feb. 20 around 2:30 a.m, according to www.findgenelosik.com.

The UMass Amherst graduate had been with a friend 10 minutes before he disappeared and was in good spirits and not intoxicated.

Friends were unable to reach him on his cell the morning of the Feb. 20. There has been no ATM card activity since his disappearance, and no phone calls made or received. His family and girlfriend are devastated over his disappearance.

Over 40 officials helped search the immediate area and over 45 area hospitals have been notified. Officials searched Boston Harbor with divers, sonar, underwater cameras, boats, search dogs and helicopters, but no evidence leads police to believe Losik fell in the water.

Losik is 5 foot 11 inches tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and black dress shoes when he disappeared. He has a blue tribal flame tattoo above his right bicep.

Anyone with information regarding this person or his whereabouts is asked to contact Area A-1 (Downtown) detectives at (617) 343-4248.
