(CBS) - Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent was arrested Sunday in Tennessee on charges of aggravated assault, reports TMZ.

Vincent, who replaced Ace Frehley in 1982, was held on $10,000 bond and released late Sunday morning. He was reportedly arrested in Murfreesboro, Tenn. by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department, but no further details on the alleged assault were immediately available.

The rocker, whose real name is Vinnie Cusano, was with KISS for the "Creatures Of The Night" and "Lick It Up" albums and tours, and left the band in 1984.

After leaving the group Cusano launched a solo recording in 1986 titled "The Vinnie Vincent Invasion."
