First look at Allison Williams as "Peter Pan"
Allison Williams has made it to Never Never Land.
A first look at the "Girls" star as Peter Pan in NBC's live telecast of "Peter Pan Live!" was revealed on her Instagram. The 26-year-old actress is seen in green perched up on an old ship as the sun sets.
She captioned the pic: "The transformation begins! My first shoot as Pan. Fun fact: I was all ready to cut my hair, then was told by the folks who actually know what they're doing that a wig works better for everybody. So, December 4th, here we come. #wiglife #peterpanlive #nbc."
This isn't the first time we've seen Williams donning a Pan costume. When it was announced that she landed the role in July, she posted a photo of herself as a child dressed as Peter Pan, writing: "I've been rehearsing for a REALLY long time."
A few weeks later, following the death of "Hook" star Robin Williams, the actress shared a video of her flying lessons for "Peter Pan." She captioned the Instagram post: "First day of flying lessons for 'Pan.' Thinking about and missing a hero of mine who once did this and left big shoes to fill."
