The jury weighing whether to convict Romero and her U.S-born husband reported that one of its members was "hostile" Thursday afternoon.

U.S. District Judge Manuel Real instructed the panel to continue deliberation after defense attorneys said they thought the jury could reach some verdicts.

Deliberations continued for another hour without any agreement.

They will return Friday morning.

A forewoman said the panel has not yet reached any agreement on the seven charges the pair face. The pair are also charged with lying on immigration forms.
