Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have split

Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are parting ways after nearly two years of marriage.

A rep for the actors confirmed the split Wednesday in a statement to Us Weekly: "Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate. They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."

Wood, 26, took to Twitter that same day to say she'd be taking a break from the site.

She and Bell, 28, first met in 2004 on the set of Green Day's music video for "Wake Me Up When September Ends." They married in October 2012 and welcomed a son (whose name has not been revealed publicly) last July.

"Evan you are my warrior! You never cease to amaze. Thank you for birthing our son so naturally & peacefully. You did it!" Bell tweeted at the time. (His account has since been deleted.)

Wood's acting credits include "The Wrestler," "True Blood" and the HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce." Bell has appeared in "Billy Elliot," "The Adventures of Tintin" and the AMC Revolutionary War drama "Turn." He's also been cast as Ben Grimm/The Thing in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot.
