End of an Era: McDonald's manager officially ends the "coning" craze

(CBS) - Tragic news, everybody. It appears that fans of the "coning" craze may have to find something new to do to cure their boredom. A McDonald's manager has put his foot down and officially stopped this bizarre and popular trend. Watch and see what happens.

Okay, so maybe it's just wishful thinking and his refusing to allow a "coning" to occur doesn't officially put a stop to the odd craze... but we here at The Feed definitely want to give props to this guy for taking a stand.

I mean, c'mon people, "coning"? Really? I'll give credit to "planking," "horsemanning," and some other recent trends, but this one is simply beneath the Internet, in this blogger's humble opinion.

UPDATE: It seems this really might be the end of "coning" as more videos are springing up showing both anti-coning sentiments and more vigilance by popular chains that sell delicious soft serve ice cream in a cone.  You can watch both exhibited in the video below.
