EMI's Finishing Touches: Allen, Non-Exec Chairman, EMI Music; Alexander Top Non-Exec Publishing

Another batch of changes from EMI and owner Terra Firma, but, in a statement, Terra Firma head Guy Hands described the new appointments as "the final part of the process of putting in place a new management team at EMI Music under Elio Leoni-Sceti and at EMI Music Publishing under Roger Faxon." The announcement also includes changes in the executives managing Terra Firma's investment in EMI.

Charles Alexander, former chief executive of ITV plc (LSE: ITV), has been appointed non-executive chairman of EMI Music, the recorded music business.

Stephen Alexander switches roles from operational managing director of Terra Firma and president of EMI's catalog division to deputy chairman of Maltby Capital, EMI's holding company, and senior non-executive director of EMI Music Publishing.

Pat O'Driscoll shifts from chief restructuring officer at EMI Music to Terra Firma, where, as an operational managing director, she will be responsible for overseeing Terra Firma's EMI Music and EMI Music Publishing investments.
