(CBS/WUSA) WASHINGTON - Police in D.C. say they have located Emily Hershenson a mother who has been missing since Monday morning.

The husband of the 33-year-old woman confirms the young mother was found near Capitol Hill where she once worked as a press secretary. Hershenson had not been seen since she left her home Monday morning.

According to CBS affiliate WUSA, her family was concerned because they say her doctor believes she might be suffering from a psychiatric problem.

Hershenson's husband says he has been reunited with his wife. He says she was a little disoriented, but she had no physical injuries. She will be checked out by doctors more thoroughly.

Hershenson has a 19-month-old daughter and is a social worker at the National Institutes of Health.
