Ellen Page to make directorial debut with "Miss Stevens"

Actress Ellen Page is turning her focus to work behind the camera. The "To Rome with Love" star is slated to make her directorial debut with a high school-set drama, "Miss Stevens."

According to "The Hollywood Reporter," the 25-year-old Page will direct actress Anna Farris in the film's title role. Farris is expected to play a teacher assigned to chaperone a group of high school students at a drama competition.

Page has most recently been seen in two films, "Touchy Feely" and "The East." Both projects made their debut at this year's Sundance Film Festival. This spring, the Canadian-born Page will also begin filming "X-Men: Days of Future Past," reprising her role of Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat from 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand."
