"DWTS" results recap: Who got voted off in week 2?

The votes have been counted and the results have been tallied and after the second episode of this season's "Dancing with the Stars," one contestant and his pro partner has been eliminated from the competition, never to be seen again (until they come back in a cameo for one, if not many, future episodes.)

NASCAR star Michael Waltrip and his partner Emma slater were the first duo to be told they were in jeopardy, which wasn't much of a surprise given that they received the lowest judges score of the night last week.

The Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and her partner Mark Ballas, who had done a somewhat poorly received but well-executed jazz routine set to country music, were next up on the chopping block. Finally, talk show host and author Tavis Smiley and his partner Sharna Burgess were given the same bad news as well.

As the three couples took to the stage, it was clear which of the three were likely not in any real danger. While Sadie's dance number during the second episode wasn't beloved, it was still full of real potential, and there are a lot of Duck Dynasty fans out there who likely weren't going to let her go home this early in the game.

So the real question was, would it be the 51-year-old former NASCAR star -- who despite delivering a lack-luster beach themed performance was still cheered on by the crowd and the judges -- or the 49-year-old political commentator and author who had repeatedly mentioned behind that scenes that he didn't have to time rehearse because he had to book tour that he needed to promote.

While Waltrip might have had the lowest judges' scores, it was Tavis and his pro partner Sharna who got the axe.

Tune into "Dancing with the Stars" Monday on ABC for the next night of music, dance and heated competition.

In the meantime, check out the video below to see the former "Fresh Prince" star Alfonso Ribeiro talk about his competitive edge.
