CSI's Gary Dourdan and Girlfriend Involved in "Crime of Passion," Says Report

NEW YORK (CBS) Former "CSI" actor Gary Dourdan was able to get his girlfriend, Maria Asis del Alamo, off the hook after explaining to the court that her arrest last month is based on a big misunderstanding, according to TMZ.com.

Last month, Dourdan's girlfriend was arrested on domestic violence charges after a meddling neighbor called police to report loud noises coming from the couple's home in Venice, Calif. says the site.

Despite Dourdan's protests, the cops came and arrested Maria after they noticed a scratch on the actor's neck, says TMZ.

However, the police and the nosy neighbor failed to consider other explanations for the loud noises - like the television, a crazy game of charades, or - and this one is out there - the moans and groans of an intense love-making session.

In fact, says TMZ, it's that last one that's true. Dourdan was able to get the criminal charges against his girlfriend dropped by claiming that the couple was merely making love. And the explanation for the scratches, well...you do the math.
