Creepy Critters Invade Plaza

It's a week ahead of Halloween, the creatures from the Six Flags Great Adventure Fright Fest couldn't wait to start scaring people, so some showed up at The Early Show plaza Wednesday, thanks to the fest's Professor Slithers and Frankenstein.

Actually, every year, Six Flags parks around the country hold a Halloween celebration known as Fright Fest. This season's Fright Fest brings "Family by Day, Fright by Night" entertainment, offering activities for the whole family.

One of the shows this year, which can be seen at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, is part of the Family by Day entertainment. Professor Slithers and Frankenstein, the two "stars" of the show, present a host of creepy creatures such as a tarantula, albino python, red-tailed boa, euromastyx lizard, rat, blue-tongued skink and bearded dragon to the audience. Professor Slithers is a mad scientist who introduces the critters claiming how frightening and scary they are. He says things like, "Here's a dragon, they shoot fire and have lazer beam eyes." Then Frankenstein jumps in and explains the reality, dispelling all the myths that make people so fearful these animals.

Professor Slithers and Frankenstein were on the Plaza with their creepy critters.
