Cops: Idaho woman missing under "suspicious circumstances"

NAMPA, Idaho -- Police say a 36-year-old Idaho woman is missing under suspicious circumstances, and police have reportedly taken her boyfriend into custody on a parole violation after questioning him.

Selena Dawn Thomas, of Nampa, outside Boise, was last seen Thursday, Aug. 14, reports CBS affiliate KBOI. Thomas wasn't reported missing until Monday, according to the Idaho Statesman.

Police said there were "suspicious circumstances" at her home. They say her car was still at the house, as well as other personal items she would normally take with her, reports KBOI.

Police issued a lookout alert for Thomas's boyfriend, 39-year-old Alfredo Martin Martinez, also of Nampa, saying they wanted to question him. Martinez met with police on Tuesday, reports the Statesman.

He's now reportedly in custody on a parole violation.

Police describe Thomas as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, about 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Thomas' whereabouts is asked to call the Nampa Police Department at (208) 465-2257.
