Cops find car of missing California mom
PALMDALE, Calif. -- Authorities are asking for the public's help after finding the car of a missing Southern California mother last seen nearly two weeks ago.
Monique Figueroa was last seen driving away from her home in Little Rock, northeast of Los Angeles, May 19, reports CBS Los Angeles. Her 2004 burgundy Mercendes Benz was reportedly discovered in nearby Palmdale Saturday.
Figueroa, 27, is reportedly the mother of a two-year-old daughter. Detectives say her family is "very concerned."
Monique Figueroa is described as five feet, three inches tall and 140 lbs., with shoulder length brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at (323) 890-5500.
