Cops: Ex-Idol Finalist Busted For Drugs

Former "American Idol" finalist Jessica Sierra has posted bond after being arrested overnight on felony charges in Tampa, Florida. Police arrested the 21-year-old singer on charges of aggravated assault after she allegedly struck a man during an argument around 2 a.m. Sunday.

While being booked into the jail, police say they found cocaine in Sierra's purse, and she was subsequently charged with two additional felony counts of cocaine possession and introduction of contraband into a detention facility.

She was later transferred to another jail facility on Falkenburg Road in Tampa and posted $11,500 bond at noon Sunday. A booking sergeant at the facility where she was booked says she must appear in court within the next month.

Sierra was a contestant during the 2005 season of Fox's American Idol.
