Columbus police say 22-year-old Jacob Ferrero confessed to killing Samantha Greenlee, also 22, and burying her body near a church. Police said the confession led them to uncover a body in a wooded area near the Madison Christian church in Columbus early Wednesday, reports the station.

"(Detectives) actually brought him out here. They showed him to this area, and he walked them down a path to a shallow grave," Columbus police Sgt. Rich Weiner told the station.

Greenlee was last seen on October 8 leaving her job at a local restaurant. Family told the Columbus Dispatch she was three months pregnant.

Two days later, she missed a doctor's appointment, and later that say, her west Columbus apartment caught fire, reports the station.

Ferrero is now facing murder and aggravated arson charges, according to WBNS. He had reportedly been questioned several times by police over the past several weeks.

"I suspected, because her car was there. They had an argument that night. She had been missing and her house was set on fire Friday," Darlene Byas, the woman's grandmother, told the station.

Estellia Sheridan, a cousin, told the Columbus Dispatch the two had been dating for about five months. She said Greenlee called police on Ferrero several times, including after an incident where she said he stole money from her purse.

"She was trying to get the relationship to work because of the baby," the cousin, Estellia Sheridan, told the paper. "She was so happy about the baby."
