HOUSTON (AP) - A contract worker has been confirmed dead one day after a gas pipeline explosion and fire at a Houston-area petroleum plant.

A Wednesday night statement from plant contractor Turner Industries says Richard Shaw died in the Tuesday fire at the Enterprise Products plant in Mont Belvieu.
