wrote a letter on his blog, mourning the death of his brother. It read, "I celebrate your unprecedented awesomeness today and always. I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. I'm obviously not the only one, judging by the hundreds of caring hands that have reached out to our family this weekend. In a twisted way, it's a beautiful sight."

Miree's obituary on Alabama Live's website Al.com says he graduated Magna cum Laude in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt. He was President of the Mechanical Engineering honor Society, Vice President of the Vanderbilt Aerospace Club, and President of the school's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After graduating, he moved to Mobile to take a job with Chevron Corporation. Miree was said to enjoy hunting, hiking, fishing and skiing.

According to Al.com, the memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 20 at 3 p.m. at the Independent Presbyterian Church.
