A child who had appeared in a militant propaganda video released last April showing children undergoing training at a camp in Waziristan has been killed during the Islamic Jihad Union's (IJU) operations against coalition forces in Afghanistan, according a new video released by the Uzbek militant group today. The body of the child appeared in a 30-minute video that paid tribute to militants killed during the group's operations.

The group also issued two other videos. One video is nearly an hour long and shows a series of mortar/rocket attacks targeting US bases in Paktika. The group, which is believed to have close ties to al Qaeda, said some of the attacks had been carried out in coordination with the Taliban. The video was made with Arabic, German and Russian subtitles.

The other video showed an operation carried out by the group, where they launched a rocket attack on what they said was a U.S. base in Afghanistan.

IJU, which is also known as lso known as the Islamic Jihad Group, was recently linked to the plot to attack Frankfurt's airport and the U.S. military airbase at Ramstein in Germany last September.
