"Celebrity Apprentice:" Goldberg Eliminated

After failing to lead his team, former WWE wrestler Bill Goldberg left the boardroom for good - and empty handed - on Sunday night's episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Goldberg stepped up to the project manager role for the first time after former "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant and country singer, Trace Adkins, delivered this week's challenge.

The task was simple. Both teams were to give an image makeover to aspiring country stars, Luke Bryan and Emily West. The men took on Bryan and the women had West.

Donald Trump thought it was appropriate for singer Cyndi Lauper to be the leader for the women's team; however he questioned why Goldberg was taking on the job for the men and not rocker Bret Michaels.

Eventually, the task of transforming Luke Bryan from unknown to well-known proved to be too difficult for Goldberg. He ceded majority of the responsibilities to Michaels, which inevitably worked to his disadvantage.

On the contrary, two members of the women's team - Tenacity - had issues with Lauper's unwillingness to give up control and delegate work. Both Holly Robinson Peete and Maria Kanellis were noticeably frustrated of Lauper's lack of respect and management skills.

Sharon Osbourne later confirmed in the boardroom she was in favor of Lauper and said she "got the job done."

Ultimately, Trump declared the women's team as the winner. They succeeded with Emily West by elevating her new image and style to a level the judges favored. This led to the men being on the chopping block and Goldberg hearing those infamous two words: "You're fired."

With only two men left on the men's team, Donald Trump might spit out a game changer next week and mix things up in order to even out the two teams.
