Cee Lo Green is MIA in his "Cry Baby" video

Jaleel White in Cee Lo Green's "Cry Baby" video YouTube

(CBS) - Cee Lo Green has a new music video out, and the soul singer is not even in it.

In the video for his latest single, "Cry Baby," Green, who is also a mentor on NBC's "The Voice," is nowhere to be seen. Filling his place is Jaleel White, the man best known as Steve Urkel from "Family Matters."

Dressed in plaid pants and a cardigan, White lip- synchs and leads a group of dancers to a choreographed routine on a neighborhood street in the video, which maintains a retro, 1950's vibe.

It ends with him saying, "Don't cry baby" and giving the camera a sultry wink.

"Cry Baby" is off Green's third studio album "Lady Killer," out now.
