RIVERSIDE, Calif. (CBS/AP) A peaceful Riverside County street turned into what looked like a movie scene Monday when a SWAT team stormed a suburban house.
Police say a man who was kidnapped in Van Nuys and held hostage for four days was rescued from the house. An LAPD SWAT team surprised the alleged kidnappers and negotiated their peaceful surrender.
A large amount of drugs were seized during the raid.
Los Angeles Police Officer Karen Rayner says three suspects were arrested. The house is in the unincorporated area of Mira Loma.
Rayner says the victim was taken to a hospital with injuries he suffered during the alleged kidnapping.
Police had no further details.
