-- NBCU launches Saturday Night Live politics minisite: SNL still doesn't have a real contender for Obama impressions but it does have "SNL Politics", newly launched with all the usual gimmicks and then some: e-cards, games, profiles of presidential candidates as depicted by cast members, an election for favorite SNL Presidential Candidate. The best bitsand possibly the worst: video clips featuring political content as well as the show's digital shorts, TV Funhouse cartoons, and classic sketches sorted by host and cast member. Huffington Post dubs the site a "blatant capitalization" of Comedy Central's "Indecision 2008."

-- Entertainment Rights to provide retro programming to digital platforms: ER has finalized an agreement to launch a selection of retro programming called "Retro Heroes" on YouTube, Joost and Babelgum, featuring two and five-minute webisodes from ER's catalogue of children's and family programming including He-Man, She-Ra, Felix the Cat, Rock & Bullwinkle and more.

-- MTVN (NYSE: VIA) launches video hub for gay community: MTVN's Logo group has launched a new video hub geared towards the gay and lesbian audience featuring 3,000 ad-supported clips, reports CNET. The largest central library of videos for this audience can be found at Logoonline houses full episodes of Big Gay Sketch, Noah's Arc and more as well as documentaries, short clips, news and music.

-- CSG to offer National Lampoon online video store: CSG Systems will launch Content Direct, a new online video store where customers can browse, preview and purchase moviesincluding the upcoming One, Two, Manyand other merchandise from the National Lampoon catalog. CSG's Content Direct solution will also feature advertising and syndication as well as transaction management and purchasing options.
