San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore says Dorothy Grace Marie Maraglino was taken into custody Thursday night at a hotel in downtown San Diego. Her connection to the killing is unclear.

Gore says in a statement that Maraglino's arrest was a result of information and evidence obtained during the ongoing investigation, but no further details were released.

Brittany Dawn Killgore was last seen April 13, three days after she filed for divorce from her husband, Lance Cpl. Cory Killgore. Her body was found in brush near Lake Skinner four days later.

Louis Ray Perez and Jessica Lynn Lopez were arrested last month and have pleaded not guilty to murder.

Officials said Brittany Killgore was last seen with 45-year-old Perez, who is also a Camp Pendleton Marine. Her cell phone was found mid-April in the San Diego shopping and entertainment district, the "Gaslamp Quarter." According to The Los Angeles Times, Perez was questioned regarding the missing young woman and was uncooperative.
