Brad Pitt spotted walking with a cane

(CBS) Brad Pitt stepped out in Beverly Hills on Thursday toting a new accessory - a cane.

"He tore his MCL," a source told Just Jared, but it is still not official if the actor did in fact tear one of the ligaments in his knee, or how he sustained the injury.

In addition to using a cane, the actor was spotted wearing an unusual all black jumpsuit.

Pitt is up for Golden Globe and SAG awards for "Moneyball." He is slated to be in "World War Z," an adaptation of Max Brook's zombie novel, which is due in theaters right before next Christmas.
